About this pack

Copper gets a volume of its own because it does not behave like the rest of the metal shelf. It oxidises rather than rusting, it goes green rather than orange, and the patina spreads from where water sits rather than from where the surface has been scratched. Volume 16 is thirty procedural copper smart materials for Substance Painter built around that behaviour, with thirty PBR texture sets at 4096 x 4096.

What you get

  • 30 high-quality copper smart materials (SPSM)
  • 30 4K copper PBR texture sets at 4096 x 4096
  • JPEG preview renders

The obvious uses are historical — roofing and domes, kettles and stills, ships' fittings, steampunk everything — but copper and its alloys appear in far more contemporary work than most asset lists allow for: wiring, heat sinks, bus bars, plumbing, instrument cases, the inside of anything that has been taken apart on screen.

Because every material is a layer stack rather than a flattened bake, the age of the surface is a parameter rather than a decision someone else made for you. Push the oxidation up for a roof that has stood a century, take it back down for a fitting installed last year, and the same file serves both. The masks read the mesh's bakes, so the patina collects where the geometry would actually hold moisture and the polish survives where a hand would actually keep touching it.

The texture sets are the portable half of the pack: plain 4K PBR maps for Marmoset, Photoshop, Substance Designer or any renderer that speaks the workflow. The smart materials themselves need a current version of Substance Painter.

Every purchase includes free lifetime updates and a no-questions-asked 7 day money back guarantee.

About Smart Materials

Every set in this aisle is built the way I build materials for client work: layered, parametric and non-destructive. Nothing is baked flat, so you can open any material and change the base colour, the wear amount or the roughness breakup without starting over.

Each material ships alongside a rendered 4K PBR texture set — base colour, roughness, metallic, normal and height — so you can use it outside Substance Painter in Blender, Unreal, Unity or any renderer that speaks PBR.
