About this pack

Forty heraldic and mythological creature reliefs, supplied twice over: as 4K alpha brushes for sculpting the detail into a surface, and as highpoly meshes for laying it on top of one. Which route you take depends on whether the ornament needs to be part of the wall or a separate piece fixed to it, and this pack does not make you choose in advance.

Formats in the download

  • Alpha brushes at 4K, for maximum sculpted detail
  • ZBrush brush files, ready to stamp
  • PSD sources, so an alpha can be edited or recombined
  • FBX and OBJ meshes of every design
  • Blender files with materials assigned

The designs cover Chinese and Western dragons, griffins, a phoenix, lion medallions, a serpent ouroboros, ram and bull heads, eagle crests, dragon medallions, ornamental beast circles, square relief tiles, creature crests and guardian carvings.

Used as alphas, this is how a plain castle gate becomes a dragon gate in one pass: drop a subdivided plane or a cylinder into ZBrush, stamp the relief, and the ornament belongs to the geometry it sits on, curving with the surface and catching light as one object. Used as meshes, the same relief becomes a shield boss, a door medallion, a banner emblem or a hilt pommel, and can be instanced across a level without touching the sculpt.

The PSD files are the part that gets overlooked. An alpha is a height map, and having it as a layered document means you can lift the head off one design and set it into the frame of another, adjust the depth ramp so the relief sits shallower in soft stone, or build a variant that repeats along a border. Forty designs is the starting count, not the ceiling.

About Game Assets

This aisle is production work, not a demo. The meshes are optimised for real-time budgets, the UVs are packed with proper padding, and the texture sets are 4K PBR with consistent naming so a whole folder can be imported at once.

Tested in Unreal Engine and Unity. Scale, pivots and orientation are all correct on import.
