About this pack

Volume two answers the request that came back about the first one. The maps were fine; nobody wanted to wire them up by hand forty times over. So this release carries forty further tileable weaves and adds a PBR base material for each, authored in Substance and exported as SBSAR with the parameters that matter left adjustable. Anything that reads the format — Painter, Designer, and a growing number of engines — takes them straight in.

Inside the pack

  • 40 PBR base materials, SBSAR
  • 40 Normal maps at 16 bits
  • 40 displacement maps at 16 bits
  • 40 ambient occlusion maps at 8 bits
  • Every pattern tiles cleanly on both axes
  • Two sets released free as samples

Dropping an SBSAR onto a mesh in Painter takes about four seconds, and that is the whole argument for the format here. Tiling, rotation and depth stay as parameters instead of becoming a re-export, so a garment can be rescaled after its silhouette changes — which it always does, usually the day after the textures were called final. The loose images ship alongside for the cases where a material graph is the wrong tool: a displacement modifier in Blender, a bump slot in an older shader, a bake target in Marmoset.

The selection leans towards garment weaves rather than upholstery, which is where the presentation came from. The medieval blouse in the preview renders was built to Evgenia Petrova's tutorial and is not included here; what is included is the pattern work behind it. Each Normal and each occlusion map derives from the same height data as its displacement, so the three never disagree with each other at a tile boundary.

Owning the first volume does not make this one redundant. None of the forty structures repeat, and the SBSAR wrapper is new at this volume.

Every purchase includes free lifetime updates and a no-questions-asked 7 day money back guarantee.

About Textures & Patterns

These packs cover the surface detail that generators cannot invent for you. Every pattern is seamless in both axes, authored from height data first so the normal and ambient occlusion maps agree with each other, and tuned for even contrast across the whole set.

Use them as stencils, projections, trim strips or straight tiling fills. They work in Substance Painter and Designer, ZBrush, Blender and any DCC that reads a PNG.
