About this pack

The second Brush Tools volume doubles the first: 100 ornament alphas at 4K, delivered as height maps, Photoshop ABR brushes and ZBrush brushes, with a short video tutorial on making your own. It is aimed at anyone who has run out of ornament and would rather generate the next hundred than buy them.

In the download

  • 100 ornament brushes with their matching height and alpha maps
  • All maps at 4K
  • Photoshop ABR brushes
  • ZBrush brushes
  • JPEG previews
  • One video tutorial, 7 minutes 30 seconds, at 1920x1080

The tutorial covers custom copy across two programs, Illustrator and Photoshop, and finishes on metal gradients — the step that turns a flat vector ornament into a map with the tonal range a height channel needs. It is short because it is a technique rather than a course: watch it once and the method transfers to any ornament you draw afterwards.

The brushes themselves go wherever alphas go. ZBrush and Substance Painter are the obvious homes, Quixel DDO and NDO read them directly, and 3D-Coat, Cinema 4D and Blender all accept the height maps as they are.

Against volume 01 this is thirty more alphas and a different emphasis. The first volume was a set to work from; this one is a set to work from plus a method for extending it, which starts to matter as soon as a project needs ornament specific to itself — a house style, a heraldic device, a motif that has to read as its own rather than as something bought.

Used together, the pack and the tutorial answer two different problems: the hundred alphas cover the ornament you need today, and the seven minutes cover the ornament nobody has drawn yet.

Every purchase includes free lifetime updates and a no-questions-asked 7 day money back guarantee.

About Alphas & Brushes

These sets are the finishing detail that decides whether an asset reads as real. The alphas are rendered from actual geometry rather than traced from photos, so edges stay crisp under projection and the height data holds up when you push it into a normal map.

Brush presets are included for both Substance Painter and ZBrush, with spacing and falloff already dialled in.
